I had the pleasure of staying at Le vie del Vaticano, a delightful bed & breakfast located a stone's throw from Vatican City, and the experience was simply impeccable. The location is one of its strong points: St Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums and the underground are all within a few minutes' walk, making this B&B the ideal base for exploring Rome. Despite being close to the tourist attractions, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The rooms are finished to the highest standard: clean, bright, well furnished and equipped with all modern conveniences. A genuine attention to the guests' well-being is palpable. Although on the ground floor, the rooms were quiet and well soundproofed. Breakfast is varied and generous, and the communal area, although small, is very well laid out. In short, Le vie del Vaticano is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming and strategically located stay to experience Rome to the full. I will definitely be back!
